The hotel is fantastic. Pick-up time is well designed that we have plenty of time to have a onsen and take photo around before sunset. The hotel is historical and traditional, Hibari Misora also stayed here before. We are greeted with matcha upon arrival. How considerate they are. Tea tasted especially sweet.
The dinner was exquisite. Osake tasted great. We were surprised waitress came to our room to make a bed during dinner. Breakfast is semi-buffet with delicious curry rice. It would be perfect if we could put some meal in.
For the onsen, Tenkuu no kotori furo was wonderful. It was interesting having an outdoor furo on the tree with white snow view. The square pool was good, but the circle was not hot enough. Besides, we were free to use the old public onsen house outside, we can clearly hear the sound in the opposite girl pool.
Overall, it is highly recommend having a stay.
