As a foreign solo tourist traveling around Tokyo this hotel was good value. You won't find any other hotel near Akihabara and Ueno with an independent washroom/shower for this price and without additional weekend pricing. The staffs do not speak English but I was able to communicate using simple English and limited Japanese. However, the room's washroom/shower is extremely small, so if you're a tall/big person you'll find it intolerable. Overall, if you're just looking for a simple place to stay overnight without the need of extra hotel amenities, while having the privacy of an independent washroom, then this hotel is great. That's why I've returned to stay at this place after a previous stay 1 year ago.
