I have stayed in several Dormy Inn before and have pleasant experience. I have chosen Dormy Inn Korakuen due to its location and also this one has opened for just a few months.
The room is large compare with similar hotel in Tokyo. The room and other area in the hotel are in good condition.
I enjoyed the public bath as well as the breakfast.
However, after I left the hotel I noticed that I have left a personal belonging inside the room. I have sent an email to the hotel to ask if they have found it. I understand that it is my responsibility to take care of my belongings, so it is prefectly fine if they reply me they have not seen my stuff or they will not keep any items left behind. To my surprise, they just ignore my email and did not make any reply.
Thank you very much for your staying with us. And we deeply apologized that we have not replied for your email about your lost items immediately.
We actually have got your email but we missed move that email to another folder as we already answered.
We will not make an excuse and make you to forgive us, but please kindly understand that is not we did not reply on purpose.
We basically keep the items which our guests left behind in the rooms. However we checked the list of lost items again, we could not find your item unfortunately and we feel sorry about the situation.
We appreciate that your tolerant assessment, even you have taken a rude response about your email from us.
We are looking forward to seeing you next time in Tokyo.
