The building looks new. Self check-in was easier than expected. The room looks new and CLEAN. It has plenty of space for 1 person. Bright room, good! AC was strong and not centrally control, very good! The sound insulation was not so good, could hear footsteps in the hallway but for the price of the room, I can endure that for short term stay. My only complaint is that there was no elevator and I had to slowly carry my big luggage up to the 2nd floor. Advance warning would be nice. There is a small kitchen in the common area. Overall, good place to stay if you want to avoid Wakkanai's pricy hotels during peak travel season.
