We had a very bad experience with this hotel and will not recommend to any person. Because of traffic congestion, we arrived the hotel one hour later than we expected (6 pm). We were tired and wished we would be welcomed to the hotel. However, the female owner of the hotel showed her black face to us and was angry about our late. She even said that she had the right to cancel our booking due to our late arrival. We explained that we did not know how to make Japanese call. Nevertheless, she did not listen to us and urged us to have dinner immediately. I am sorry to hear that your experience staying with us was all too bitter for you. Our booking page you went through (Rakuten) states that if we do not receive and information or contact from you by 18:00,your booking would be cancelled. Also your arrival time was 19:00 as I had just instructed our Chef to cancel your meal as we did not know your location, or if you would be arriving on that day. We need an email, phone call or any other form of contact to let us know if you will be late or not. Our latest Dinner is started by19:00 ,that is the reason we ask guests to give us information if you are going to be late. I do hope you decide to travel in Japan again and that this information can benefit you at that time.
