Stayed for a night. The onsen was relatively small, but comfortable. Homemade food was delicious and healthy. Inn owners were the highlight of the stay - they were unfailingly kind. Have informed them that I would need to leave earlier (before the time for breakfast) and they immediately offered to let me have breakfast earlier than normal. In addition, they offered to make me an o-bento for my hike during the day, which was also delicious.
