It is definitely the worst Rayokan experience I ever had during my years of frequent visits to Japan. We felt we were not welcomed at all at the place, and the staff treated foreign guests with no hospitality as if we should just pay the money and leave as soon as possible. The dinner was extremely poor in terms of quality and quantity. The change room at the public onzen was shockingly dirty; there was hairs everywhere. I doubt if the staff has at least cleaned it once a week. It was a true shame for the renown Japanese Rayokan culture!
