I have stayed with family of 5 for 1 night. The staff service was very good and the team was very supportive in all matters. The room was big enough for the kids to play around. It had a wonderful view of the lake and surrounding leisure spots. The food (dinner and breakfast) was reasonable and typical of Hamanako area (Unagi and sashimi). It gave us the feeling that it has been made quite a time ago and served. It can improve. The hot bath was very relaxing, with several types of furo. One topic which the hotel could improve is to set-up smoking and non-smoking areas and rooms. The room had no smell, but there were places where guests were smoking where our kids were passing by. It is unacceptable that still no rule about it in most of Japanese local hotels at this current present.
