The hotel provides excellent services that we were very impressed. (1) After one-day promenade along the Alpen route, the hotel bus waited us at the coach station (provided that we did not make a reservation) in the evening. (2) Delicious dinner and nice buffet breakfast are provided. Staff in the dining room approached each table to help add water and rice frequently. They were polite and helpful. (3) Upon check out, we visited the Alpen route again. The weather was very poor and it rained cat and dog. We were all wet after heading back to the hotel for picking out luggage in the later evening. The manager offered us free hot shower (and hotspring) and sent us to the coach station for free. We were sorry that the staff who drove us to the coach station got wet due to the heavy rainfall. Overall, the services are excellent and comparable to a 5-star hotel. I do strongly recommends to anyone who plans to stay Omachi.
