stayed at more than a dozen of Dormy Inns throughout Japan, this one at Matsumoto is less than satisfactory, below the normal Dormy Inn standard. opened about 10 years ago, and perhaps thats why room and facilities appear old. the lamp in my room was broken. restroom is tiny and old fashioned, similar to layout of Toyoko Inn. breakfast selection was disappointing, unlike the great ones normally seen at most Dormy Inns. services were attentive though, and reasonably good location.
also stayed at Dormy Inn Nagano during the same trip, in huge contrast, this is one of the best, will write more in the Dormy Inn Nagano comment page.

Thank you very much for staying at Dormy Inn Matsuoto and we appreciate for your frequent use of our group hotel.
However, we are very sorry that we are unable to give you our services in less satisfactory. This is obviously not the experience we want you to have at our hotel. We would like to take your comment seriously and would consider for the improvement.
Every Dormy Inn offer similar services at its core with many local characteristics in which to try to make our worldwide guests get relaxed and fun. It is glad for us to hear that you enjoyed in Nagano, and we would like to take this as an opportunity to provide better services onward. We would love to invite you back into our hotel for the chance to make up for a visit that you did not enjoy.
