The hotel's facilities are somewhat old and some people may feel it seems run-down, but I actually kinda liked it that way, as it gives the hotel a nice broken-in, vintage feel. The bed was incredibly cozy--I can't remember the last time I've slept so comfortably! The only downside of the onsen is that it's almost always open only to men. The hours women are allowed to use it are just 90 minutes a day, all in the evening. If you're female and were hoping for an AM dip, you're SOL. The hotel's advertising copy boasted a breakfast buffet chock full of local specialties, but during my stay the buffet was meager and guests were allowed just 30 minutes to get their food and eat. This might have been some sort of attempt at a coronavirus-prevention measure, but it significantly reduced the value of a stay here. Wouldn't have been so disappointed if they'd made their women's onsen hours and reduced breakfast policy clear before I'd booked my reservation.

Vintage feelという表現をして当ホテルの古い雰囲気を気に入っていると話してくれたことに感謝します。コロナ対策の為に色々な取り組みをしております。朝食の利用時間についても利用するお客様すべてにご協力をお願いしておりまして、ホテルの公式サイトで朝食利用時間と温泉の利用時間についても告知しております。しかしながら、更に明確にする努力をしていきます。
