Totally disappointed, an unpleasant stay in this so-called 'high-class' hotel without any service. This is the worst experience I have ever been in Japan. We won't come back to this hotel group and not recommended to anyone especially for foreigners.
Reception staff was rude, only speak Japanese; no introduction of facilities, need to read all from leaflet; bathtub with mold and basin is broken in one room, after long fight, changed to another room but the floor is broken - danger with bare foot. We have to stay in original room and have staff to clean. Dinner, totally nightmare; no staff to take care after sending us to a very tiny room; no menu/introduction; food taste was terrible, all seafood were streamed in one plate, overcooked; Main course Beef: only tiny 3 pieces 2x3cm and super thin.

We have tried to respond in English as much as possible, however there are many cases where we are unable to communicate properly. Regarding the discoloration of the floor near the open-air bath in the guest room, we are sorry for taking the time to clean again. Regarding the inexperienced response of the staff at dinner, they should have explained the contents of the meal, but they did not provide any explanation. We sincerely apologize again. We will reflect on this and provide guidance. Regarding of seiromushi , which is the main dish of the special kaiseki meal, to prevent the taste of the ingredients from escaping, seafood and Kumano beef are placed on top of vegetables. We will continue to strive to improve so that many of our customers can have an enjoyable trip at our hotel.
